FINALLY!!!
This is definitely a HUGE step in the right direction and has been 7 years in the making!
We don't really know when he will actually stand trial or what is next, but I will try to keep all developments posted on here!
OH! My hubby starts his new job tomorrow! I'm excited for him! I hope he loves it!
That's pretty much it, actually, there's probably been more, but it's past my bedtime, I stayed up entirely too late watching the Mavericks game last night and had to get up way to early!
So ADIOS! and nighty night!
**UPDATE**: In a hearing in which Gabe did not attend, the judge ordered Gabe to be remanded (cannot bail out) and will be in jail until the trial starts May 29th. If you want to read some of the articles already out there, you can go to http://tinasstory.googlepages.com/home

I guess I can spill the beans now...
Surprising Mom & Dad w/ an Easter basket from their grandbaby!
The Easter basket I made mom and dad, the bibs were hidden under the Easter grass
April 12th
Surprising Taylor's parents w/ the news @ Easter Brunch

Everything has been pretty swell so far, kinda tired and a little indigestion but nothing crazy. I am about 10 1/2 weeks today, (the doctor thinks I'm further along, by like a week, and the little babe was measuring right along with what I'm thinking on the ultrasound, so there!) :) I'm ready to be done with the 1st trimester and into the 2nd! Just a little while longer though!
Taylor is CRAZY excited! He has read every baby book we've bought (which is like, 2) and all the stuff they sent with us from the dr. He even snuck off and bought this new gender predictor test (I'll spare the details, you can google Intelligender and it will tell you all about it) and I did that today, so SUPPOSEDLY we're having a boy, so we'll see!
So, that's what's been going on with us the last few weeks! Now all 2 of you are caught up! :)

Just another day in the life...
Monday I had practice with my softball girls. All of them seem to be good kids, and I think it will be fun, I just hope I don't have any run ins with the parents! We were supposed to have practice again today, but it's 34 degrees outside, and it's supposed to sleet tonight, so coming to work tomorrow should be interesting. I hope it thaws out before we hit the road tomorrow for Wyoming. That could make for a seriously LONG drive. And it's pretty dang long already!
But right now I'm at work and I should probably get back to pretending to do something productive. I probably won't be able to post while we're gone, but I'll try and post pics and what not when we get back! WOOOHOOO! Vacation here I come! No work for a whole week! :) YAY!
ADIOS!!!

Thank goodness!
Wah. I'm so sad for him... NOT! Now that we have gotten rid of all the trouble makers (TO & Pacman) maybe we can all get along and WIN! Is that asking too much?OH! And I have my 1st batting practice with my softball team tonight! I'm really excited! I can't wait for them to start playing games! First are the 8 year olds, and the older girls are going to show up later! Woohoo! We're going to have practices on Mondays and Wednesdays, and unfortunately those are the only nights I watch TV, but luckily I can watch them online, so not a big deal...
And speaking of TV shows! Dancing with the Stars starts again Monday night! Woohoo! I'm most excited about Shawn Johnson (the gymnast) and Julianne Hough dancing w/ her boyfriend Chuck Wicks! I'm excited!
Yesterday I put in my official days off for the week of the 16th! Tay & I are going to go to Wyoming while he's off for spring break! I'm excited b/c this time not only are we going to the Ranch, but we are going to be going to Gilette to see his aunt & uncle and they're a lot of fun. His aunt already e-mailed me today to see what we want to do when we get there she said "we could do Devil's Tower, Rushmore, the Big Horns, ski, snow shoe, ice skate, play games whatever...." They are very much adventurers, (they go backpacking into remote areas and all sorts of crazy things!) so it should be lots of fun! I def. need the break! It's a long drive, but it's not really all that bad, and besides, I have a couple of books to read so I can start crossing those off my list! :)

Devils Tower
That's pretty much it! I'd better get back to work! I've got quite a bit to do today! Which is good b/c it makes the day go by MUCH faster!
Adios! :)

Okay... I've been lame...
So, I crossed painting the smurf room off the list, but I'm not QUITE finished painting b/c I need to do the top by the ceiling b/c we're not putting crown molding up in the extra bed rooms. But here's some before pics, I'll post the "afters" later.
AND while I was painting the smurf room, Taylor was installing our new sink and faucet. Let me just tell you THAT was an ordeal! It literally took all weekend and about 6 different trips to Home Depot! What a pain! I love my hubby! He's such a trooper. I would have given up about an hour into it, but he kept at it, now we have a schmancy new stainless steel sink and faucet. I wish I would have taken a before of that ugly thing! It was "white" plastic. And I use the word WHITE very loosely. Between living through about 7 boys and LOTS of paintbrush rinsing (and no telling what else) that thing had seen much better (and brighter) days! That's for sure! And let me just tell you, it makes my kitchen look SOOOOOOOOOOO much BETTER!!!!
Annnd I was going to post a pic of the birthday cake I made my sister for her 25th birthday, but #1, when I load it on here, it doesn't want to turn the right way, and #2, the top icing work didn't quite survive the trip to Cagle's, but it still tasted good. And one of the girls that works there came in and told me it was really cute, so that made me feel better (and I gave her a piece of it to show my appreciation :-). Which reminds me, Cagle's is a non-chain restaurant the hubby and I hadn't ever had, so WOOHOO! Chalk another tick mark on the 101 list!
So that's pretty much it, I've been kinda busy at work the weather has been SUPER NICE (the high today and yesterday was 83)! This weekend should be pretty busy again. I'll be glad when I get caught up with all the stuff I need to get done and can actually take a weekend to relax! But that is all for now, now it's time to go night night! YAY for bed!!! TTFN! :)

More pictures!
Tay & I went to Midland again this weekend to see Taylor's family (his grandparents were in town and it was his grandma's birthday Sat.) and "give" his parents their anniversary present (the pro-pics we took a couple of weeks ago) on Sunday. But we did actually get to hang out with my parents for a while too. Tay & I went to church with my parents on sunday, then to lunch in Odessa and to the boat and RV show. The boys were looking at bass fishing boats but Mom and I were trying to convince them that we need a combo bass/ski boat. But we left with no boat. Or RV's for that matter. Boo.
So, I was bored up here at the workplace (true story) and decided to take some pictures, so here ya go! My little setup. :)

And yes, those are shoes under my desk, and unless I have to leave the office, they stay there :)
Oh! And just because I love them, here's some flowers that J got me in appreciation for letting him "crash at our pad" last weekend. Love him.

Happy Tuesday!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! REALLY?!?!
Defence given more time in dive death case
AAP
3 February 2009
THE case of accused honeymoon killer Gabe Watson has been adjourned to give his lawyers and the prosecution more time to prepare.
American David Gabriel Watson, 31, was required to appear in Townsville Supreme Court today charged with the murder of his wife Tina.
He did not appear in court, but solicitor Rohan Armstrong, of his Townsville-based defence team, asked for more time.
"I have been in contact with Mr Watson ... we need more time to take further instructions on the matter," he told the court.
The Crown also requested more time, and the matter was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
The Alabama newlyweds were 11 days into their honeymoon when Tina drowned during a dive off the Townsville coast, on October 22, 2003.
Mr Watson has since remarried in the US, and his lawyers there have already indicated they are likely to fight his extradition in the courts.
